This is known as "kiondo"and is a hand-woven basket made from sisal which is a natural fibre grownin Kenya.The sisal fibres are hand dyed and hand-woven. Traditionally, kiondos wereused to hold staple foods like beans and corn. Now these are fashionbags. They have a fabric lining and a zip compartment on the inside.Very unique for all ladies. Also the straps have sea shells at the end.
