ISONEM MD 28 is a two component cement- based walkable insulation material, having high corrosion resistance with crack bridging capacity and high elasticity. It corrects capillaries and shrinkage cracks on the surface. It has got a high adhesion and adheres extremely to the surfaces such as concrete, plaster, alum etc. and does not buckle in time. It is resistant to outer weather conditions, UV rays, mechanical strikes and abrasion.

Usage Type:

Preparation of Surface:

The application surfaces must be clean and moist. If the surface is dry, it must be moistened beforehand. Adhesion preventing elements such as oil, dirt, rust etc. must be removed. If there are surfaces having adherence problems, they must be lined with ISONEM D 10 super glue. If there are segregations, cracks, holes etc. on the surface, those must be filled with ISONEM M 03 elastic mortar. Current dilatations must be corrected with ISONEM A4 elastic filling before ISONEM MD 28 is applied. After those processes finish, the preparation of ISONEM MD 28 is started.

Mixture Preparation:

1. Component B (10 kg) in liquid form is put in a clean and sufficient size container.
2. ISONEM MD 28 in powder form is added into the liquid, mixing by a mixer, and mixing process continues until it gets homogeneous.
3. The mixing process is done for 5 minutes homogeneously.
4. At the end of the mixing, a homogeneous mortar in brush spreadable consistency is obtained.

Application Type:

Prepared ISONEM MD 28 must be applied in three layers on the surface in 4 hours of intervals for each layer. The application process must be done smoothly and homogeneously with a brush in layers perpendicular to each other. The application must not be interrupted more than 24 hours among layers. It must not be made in extreme hot or cold. The morning or the evening should be chosen for application.

Packing: 10 kg liquid plastic can + 20 kg powder craft bag = 30 kg
Storage: In a cool and dry place for 12 months
