Scalesports

Scalesports is a registered trademark of F.planning Corporation. One-fifth (1/5) scale model cars are controlled with existing radio control equipment. Each car measures 700mm in length and 400mm in width, and weighs 10kg. Scalesports is a new genre of sport that lies between Go-carts and typical radio-controlled vehicles (R/C).

Differences from existing R/C

The most unique feature of a Scalesports car is its engine. R/C engines, so called “hot-bulb” engines, are fueled mainly by alcohol and have problems with adjustment, length of life and, especially, idling.

Scalesports cars are powered by gasoline. Each car is installed with a four-stroke, internal combustion engine and has a separate reservoir for oil. Their substantial weight, of over ten kilograms, gives one the sense of driving a real car. Even by remote control, one actually feels the car bank and slide.

Comparisons to real cars

Of course, nothing can beat the satisfaction you get from driving a real car. Driving, however, exposes one to dangers, even to life-threatening accidents. With Scalesports, you can drift as much as you like and drive at super high speeds without any risk. Satisfaction is guaranteed!

Imagine making a circuit debut in a full-size car. As soon as you get started, the car cries out for pit stops to change tires, to adjust the suspension, the engine, the carburetor, the brakes, and so on. There is no end to the money and time you will spend for maintenance and repairs.

There is no such headache with Scalesports. Assembly and repairs are facilitated by uncomplicated designs. One can become a great mechanic with little training.

Scalesports cars are made in Japan. The cars are dependable, and replacement parts are readily available. Our company produces Scalesports cars from the planning and drafting of blue prints to their manufacture.

This exciting sport, which was born in Japan, is distinguished from existing R/C as it spotlights the drivers. We are sure that people will derive much pleasure from this sport. Together let us create a wonderful motor sport that is free from dangerous accidents.

We envision various kinds of events. Currently, we have gymkhana, sprint races, endurance races, and echo races in Scalesports; we have joined parades also. You can’t find all of these events in any other sphere, only in Scalesports, which is free from engine stalls.

We hope that Scalesports events will be held all over the world so that world grand prix races can be held once every few years.

These cars can run at up to 50km/h! The thrill is just like driving a regular car at 200km/h. They are larger than typical R/C and more comfortable to drive.
