The Cheatah GOSAFER is a tracked multi purpose robot-platform that can be used by military and homeland securtiy agencies for reconnaissance, fire fighting, medevac, SAR, load carrying, EOD, etc. Due to the modular design of the robot-platform the Cheatah GOSAFER can easily adopt to different and changing customer requirements.

The Cheatah GOSAFER tracked robot-platform is the successor of the Parosha Cheatah GOSAFER VTE-3500, and developed to provide a more powerful high mobility multi-purpose platform and a better base for mounting heavy-duty hydraulic powered robot-arms. From December 2009 the Parosha Cheatah GOSAFER has got its enduration trials in which it has driven long distances in harsh environments. The Cheatah GOSAFER the first UGV from Parosha Innovators B.V. with plastic tracks and roadwheels, achieving an important weight reduction and a smoother and quieter ride.

The Cheatah GOSAFER is fitted with 10 roadwheels and has a larger hull providing more space for traction batteries. The Parosha Cheatah GOSAFER has an electric propulsion, each track sprocket driven by a high power permanent magnet electric DC-motor and battery-pack with an extreme high energy-density using the latest battery-technology for long range operations. The Cheatah GOSAFER is fitted with a hydraulic operated 2,5 meter robot-arm and hydraulic gripper and other remote attachable special tools.

Provisions are made to accomodate and install day- and night video-camera’s, thermal imaging equipment, an integrated position locating system and laser rangefinder capable of accurately determining the location of targets, acoustic detection system, AN/VDR-2 nuclear detection system, real time data transmitting system. etc. The Cheatah GOSAFER provides the backbone and carrier for many tasks including : transport, reconnaissance, patrol, surveillance, scouting, observing, detecting, EOD, inspection, mine-detecting, research, etc………

The Cheatah GOSAFER is rugged and mechanically very tough and reliable, and needs a minimum of maintenance. The payload of the Cheatah GOSAFER is 110kg and is operational in most types of climates and weather conditions. The Cheatah GOSAFER is transportable by a short-wheelbase Land Rover. Heavy-duty D-shackles are fitted at the front-end and rear-end for lifting, lashing and towing purposes. During transport in vehicles, aircraft and helicopters, traction batteries can be charged.
