Structural Steel

SC

A number represents the amount of carbon( for example S45C means 0.45% carbon).

It is used mechanical parts and others.

SCM

Chrome and molybdenum added carbon steel. There is easy to heat treatment.

Excellent heat resistance and hardness at high temperatures can be maintained.

The amount of molybdenum added 0.15 to 0.3%.

SNC

Nickel and chrome added carbon steel.

Excellent hardenability.

High toughness material by anneal.

Nickel amount is range from 1 to 3.5%.

SNCM

Chrome nickel and molybdenum added carbon steel.

It is very expensive toughness steel.

For example SNCM630(added 2.5-3.5%Nickel 2.5-3.5%Chrome.0.5-0.7% Molybdenum).

The tensile strength is over 1080N/mm²,yield point is over 885N/mm² and the hardness is HBS302-352. )

Tool Steel

JIS: SK, SKS,SKD11,SKD61,SKH

tool steel, which provides excellent impact resistance, wear resistance,

fatigue strength, and high temperature strength, is used for dies and tools.

SK

SK has properties similar to SC.

The carbon content of 0.6 to 1.5%, hardness is not much different hardening, impact resistance.

SK is among the less expensive tool steel and very popular steels.

SK is at high temperatures tend to soften unlike any other tool steel, for use in this environment is not well suited.

SKS

SKS3 is alloy tool steel for mold of cold,and SKS3 is less deformation after hardening.

It has added a special element tungsten.

SK tool steel material compared to the same carbon content but not

with SK variants are less than half the deformation of the material.

It will be used for gauge and blade chassis.

SKD11

SKD11 steel is particularly good wear resistance of alloy tool steel at room temperature for a cold mold.

Known high hardness can be obtained by nitriding.

High chromium, high carbon steel will be used to gauge the type and press.

SKD61

SKD61 is the type of steel used in hot.

There is hardly characteristic thermal cracking.

It is used for hot dice, hot cutting blade, die-casting dies.

SKH

Steel for tools for machining. There are two types of molybdenum and tungsten series.

Untempered Steel

SMNV45TL

Specializing in supplying SMnV45TL products with Japan standard - JIS

SMNV45TL is Sanyo special steel brand.

Feature

1. Low oxygen and high clean steel with vacuum degassing.

2. This steel contains a lot of silicon and manganese other than normal steel.

And adds vanadium and lead. Charpy impact values are good. Mass effect is small, so large parts can be used.

3. SMNV45TL is constant cross section hardness more than quenching S45C(JIS).

4. Organization of quenching carbon steel is sorbite. But organization of SMNV45TL is ferrite and pearlite.

So easy-cutting and mass effect is good.

It is more easy-cutting because adding lead. It is constant cross section.So machinability is stable.

5. Proof stress and elongation of SMNV45TL are slightly inferior more than S45C (JIS).

Tensile strength of SMNV45TL is higher than S45C(JIS).

6. You can eliminate thermal distortion of quenching S45C (JIS), because hardness can be obtained only from the air cooling after rolling.

7. Hardness is HRC 23-28.

SCM415NR

Specializing in supplying SCM415NR products with Japan standard - JIS.

SCM415NR is Sanyo special steel brand.

SCM415NR can be omitted normalizing(compared to SCM415 JIS).

Process can be omitted,so it will reduce cost.

Stainless Steel

JIS: 303, 304, 403, 310, 420J2, 416 and others.

Stainless steel and heat resistant steel are characterized by high corrosion resistance,

acid resistance, oxidation resistance, and heat resistance.

SUS303

It is 18Cr-8Ni and high sulfur stainless steel.

It is used bolt and nut.

SUS303 is easy to cut than SUS304, but less corrosion resistance

SUS304

SUS304 is one of the most popular type of steel. It is a heat-resistant steel.

Corrosion resistance and weldability, is known for its good mechanical properties.

SUS403

SUS403 ‘s component is 13Cr and low silicon.

It is high stress and heat-resistant steel parts for turbine blades

SUS310

SUS310S is correct.

SUS310S’s component is 25Cr-20Ni.

And oxidation resistance is better than SUS309S.

It is often used as heat-resistant steel.
