20t axle load coal hopper wagonis an advanced wagon designed for Tasmania railway. The wagon is welded structure fully made of steel and made up by parts of under frame, hopper, end wall, side wall, car roof, unload door, top lid and others. The wagon is mainly used for delivering bulk cement. The wagon has 12 groups of unload doors for unloading quickly. Unload door adopts the hydraulic control and the top lid adopts the air control. The brake system adopts one ABDXL-NE control valve made by Webtec from America, 10"ABU brake cylinder, DJ 2300 brake block slack adjusters, 50%ELX-B type empty and load changeover valves, brake-shoe of high coefficient of friction. Coupler and draft gear adopts top operation13E/F coupler (which is made of E class steel), 17 type forged coupler yokes, MT-2 draft gear.
