KJWW Engineering is providing consulting engineering and medical equipment planning services for Phase III Momentum 2012 at St. Mary Mercy Hospital. The project includes a vertical expansion adding two inpatient bed floors with 80 private patient rooms. In addition, 90 existing patient rooms will be renovated and converted to private rooms. All systems will be designed with flexibility necessary for future expansion. Two operating rooms will be added to the surgical suite and existing space will be renovated to accommodate pre/post recovery bays. Plans also include: Radiology renovation Emergency Center expansion and renovation Parking Lot expansion Healing Garden Sustainable designs Increased chilled water system capacity New AHU, hydronic heating system and domestic hot water system Extension of medical gases, normal and emergency power, and telecommunication systems to new and renovated areas
