Description and how to use:

The Pink Tower consists of a series of ten graduated cubes from 1cm³ to 10cm³. A spare 1*1*1cm cube is included.=we have 2 pcs 1*1*1cm cube per set. so it no problem you missing 1 smallest cube.

The Pink Tower is used to develop visual and muscular discrimination of size in three dimensions and to develop co-ordination and fine motor control. It offers an early pre-maths experience of comparison and seriation, and the opportunity to use vocabulary of size.

Initially the tower is built with the cubes placed centrally on another. Later the tower is built with two flat sides and the smallest cube travels down the steps fitting each step exactly to reinforce the relationship between it and the change in size of the series of cubes.

The Brown Stairs and Pink Tower can be combined and the interrelationships of size explored.

Warm remind: Use language such as 'greater', 'smaller', 'heavier', or 'lighter' to compare quantities. Use language such as 'circle' or 'bigger' to describe the shape and size of solids and flat shapes. Use every day words to describe position. Explore colour, texture, shape, form and space in two or three dimensions
