Description & Application

Outdoor ac hv vacuum circuit breaker is composed of outdoor pole-mounted vacuum circuit breaker, fault detector and outer voltage transformer, which are electrically connected with each other by aviation socket and outdoor sealing cable. With functions of fault detecting, protecting & controlling and communication, it can examine the mA-level of zero-sequence current and the fault current of phase to phase short-circuit, then automatically cut off the single phase earthing fault and phase short-circuit fault.

Once the product is used in the place higher than 1000m, the insulation withstand voltage should be correspondingly amended according to standard GB/T 11022-1999.

Material

Current Transformer Assembly

Each phase (Phase A, Phase C) in circuit breaker is installed 1pc current transformer for phase protection, the transformation ratio is 50~600/1.

Zero-sequence Current Transformer

1PC zero-sequence current transformer is installed in circuit breaker, the transformation ratio is 20/1. It should keep linear relationship during 0.2~6A, the transformation ratio deviation should be lower than 3% on condition of rated load. When the zero-sequence current is 400A the second time output current should be no less than 6A.

Operation Power Supply

1) Circuit breaker needs operating power when working. The operating power can be through AC 220V or DC 20V power (Voltage should be the same with power supply of controller),but it usually gets AC 220V power by installing a voltage transformer in 10kV line.

2) The external operating voltage transformer can be selected by user, for convenient installation the outdoor item with fuse is priority choice. If choose non-fuse item, an outdoor fuse shall be installed additionally for power transformer protection.

Watchdog

If install a power accept circuit breaker (usually called” watchdog”) at the responsible point of branch line or terminal user, it will judge the fault (over current, short-circuit, single phase earthing, etc.), automatically disconnect it, and keep normal electric power for non-fault users, suitable for incoming T connection or terminal connection as well as other satisfactory branch connecting positions.

3 Application Site: No danger of inflammable, explosion hazard, strong chemical corrosion (such as acid, alkali or fume etc.) and violent vibration

4 Elevation:≤1000m (If beyond 1000m, should reconfirm with manufacturer)

5 Thickness of Covering Ice: ≤10mm

6 Class of Air Pollution: Level 4

7 Seismic Intensity: ≤8

7 Neutral Point Earthing Method: ungrounded, grounded through arc extinction coil, grounded by small resistance.
