Application of the system:

control over the temperature of the conductive parts of the high voltage electrical equipment and industrial units;

generating warning signals of the emergency situations and their input into automatic control system for making decisions.

providing fire safety of the electrical equipment (high-voltage transformers, switchboards and other industrial installations).

How it works:

The reader emits a radio pulse signal and receives a return signal reflected by SAW sensory device .

After receiving the response signal the reader decodes it and selects the data on the temperature of the sensory device.

Temperature measurement is based on the physical effects of modification in the velocity of propagation of acoustic waves in a piezoelectric crystal sensor depending on the temperature and the thermal expansion of the material.

Composition:

A sensoring system based on surface acoustic waves (SAW) consists of a reader with transmitting and receiving antenna(s), a SAW sensor ( the number is defined by the Customer) and a sensor antenna, industrial PC and a SOFT

Picture 1 Here you see the performance test in Avangard Show room. A sensor ( white) is fixed to a thermo plate which is heated and effects the sensor. A reader interrogates the sensor, the sensor replies, the reader receives a signal about the temperature which is processed and displayed on the PC with a special SOFT and can be also seen on the wall screen
