Properties

Unitol 01100 is a cross-linking, single component, polyurethane dispersion adhesive,

Developed for applying PVC-, ABS- and PET foils to wood based materials. It has excellent

Heat- and water resistance due to its self-cross-linking qualities.

Do NOT mix the product with an isocyanate hardener.

Application

Unitol 01100 has been developed for spray application, either manual or automatic.

All surfaces must be clean and free from grease and dust. The adhesive should be applied to

One surface in an even coat. Two coats of adhesive should be applied to areas where there

Is likely to be more stress. Glue spread should be 50 - 70 g/m² on the surface, 80 - 130 g/m²

On the edges and routed parts.

Reactivation of the glue line should be possible for up to 3 days after application of the

Adhesive.

General processing conditions

Material and ambient temperature: 15 – 25°C

Wood moisture content: 8 – 12 %

Relative air humidity: 60 – 70 %

Material-, adhesive-, foil- and room-temperatures should not fall below +15°C during

Processing.

Drying

Drying can take place at an ambient temperature of 20°C. This will take approximately 30-60 Minutes.

Cleaning

Use cold water to clean machinery and tools before the adhesive sets.

Storage

The adhesive should be stored in a cool, dry area at temperatures between 15°C and 25°C.

Under these conditions, the product has a shelf life of 6 months when stored in the original,

Unopened container.

Do not allow the product to freeze.
