Old Stone is a great way to create an authentic natural look. The finish is achieved by a special ceramic firing. Our Old Stone range provides you with a weathered, rustic and natural finish. Made from Binh Duong Black Clay, moulded by hand then fired in a wood burning Bao Kiln at temperatures in excess of 1250 C which is then Sandblasted to give the planter its wonderful pitted appearance, making this an extremely hardy Frost Resistant planter.

Our sandblasted pots are made differently to other Vietnamese Sandblasted pots. It is common practice in Vietnam to cook a normal Hi Fired pot and sandblast it. Depending on how much time in front of the sandblaster the pots may seem only to have the outer layer of color removed and a smooth finish. Our Sanblasted pots are cooked in the kiln with the dimples and texture pushed into the clay. This means that when the sandblasting is finished you are going to have a textured sandblasted pot that looks ancient, rough and ready for a big fig tree in your customers back garden.
