Product Description

poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide) is an bio degradable polymer . The alternate name is poly lactic acid-glycollic acid copolymer. PLGA is produced from lactic acid and glycolic acid. It is non-toxic and has excellent biodegradability, biocompatibility, film or capsule forming ability. PLGA is widely used in pharmaceutical, medical engineering materials and modern industrial fields. In the United States, PLGA has been approved by the FDA and is formally included in the United States pharmacopoeia as pharmaceutical materials.

PLGA has been widely used in biomedical fields, such as medical anti-adhesion membrane, skin graft,stitched wound, injectable microcapsules, microspheres, implants,scaffolds for tissue engineering.
