The black pottery has a history of over 4000 years which first appeared in B.C. 2310 to B.C. 1810.The black pottery, unearthed at Longshan Town of zhangqiu , Shandong in 1928 ,has opened up an excellent page of china’s “Long shan culture” . Which is “Black Pottery Culture”.Guantao county , located at the Yellow River’ s alluvial and original ecological silt formed about 1200000 years ago in the of “Long Shan culture” . The high quality clay of the old Yellow river has offered the base for the prosperity of the pottery industry of Guantao.

2.Our raw materials and process

Main raw materials of black pottery products are made through many processes including mud making, molding,manual carving, natural drying traditional pass of Yellow River .Black pottery produced by our factory are the natural and original ecological silt formed about 1200000 years ago in the shade and burning in strong reducing flame. The process of making black pottery is complex and burning progress is difficult, so the yield is low. The black pottery products are as black as pitch, as mirror, sound as rock. The shape is simple,graceful and beautiful.
