KEY DATES

1992 - LOI HUNG POTTERIES CO.,LTD was found as a Private Enterprise. At the beginning, we focused on manufacturing and supplying pottery for Domestic customers. Our main products were just water dragon-jars which were delivered to Mekong delta provinces and Cambodia. We also manufactured glazed Planters tailored to some local exporter. During this time, our production was intented for the domestic and Cambodian market.

1998 – When Vietnam has started the open door policy since early 1990s, we began to expand production by upgrading and enlarging factory area, recruiting more skilled potters and staffs. LOI HUNG POTTERIES Company Limited was established. Besides that, Ngoc Phat Potteries Company limited , one of members in our family, was established. We have mutually support between us so the capacity of production had been developed and we can meet the big orders from the customer.

2000 – In order to improve the quality & trend of Glazed Colours, we have successfully studied and updated new technologies in production and Glazed Colours

2003 – Our company has built a company website on the internet to promote our business activities with foreign partners. We have set up some business relationship with the foreign partners in USA, News Zealand, Australia and Germany.

2004 – Our Participation of some trade show over the world has been made. Such as Spoga + Gafa Trade Show in Cologne, Germany –held on the ending of August annually.

2009 – Our website has been upgraded and used one domain name more : loihung.com. Both of two domain names: loihungpotteries.com and loihung.com are able to be accessed for one website only. Many new functions are applied in this website to make our customers more convenient and more friendly.

2010 - The New Ware-House has been constructed. We have set yp some business relationship with The foreign Partners in Middle East and Federation Russia. 2013 - The Development of New Products of Light Weight Planters - Such As : Poly Fiberglass, Light Cement. RAW MATERIAL AND PRODUCT RANGE

Main product: Flower planters, garden ornaments, saucers, pot feet, animal statuary made by Stone ware, Terracotta (Natural Ironstone, Red, Brown, Dark Brown), Slip cast, Washed Ware, Terrazo ware (Cement), Zinc Ware, Light-weighed Ware as Poly resin, Fibreglass.

Stone Ware:

Made from white clay, molded by hand, Glazed and fired by rubber wood at the temperature of 11500 C – 12000 C ( Celsius degree ) in the Dragon Kiln – Vietnam traditional kiln.

Terracotta:

Natural Ironstone Color Terracotta : Made from white clay, molded by hand, unglazed, fired at a temperature of 10500 C – 11500 C .

Red Terracotta : Made from Clay at the Mekong delta, molded by hand, unglazed and fired at a temperature of 9500 C – 10000 C.

Brown Terracotta : Made from Brown Clay taken in the Mekong Delta, molded by hand, Unglazed and fired at a temperature of 8500 C – 9000 C.

Dark Brown Terracotta : Made from Brown Clay taken from plantation fields, molded by hand, Unglazed and fired at a temperature of 11000 C – 12000 C.

Slip Cast:

This material is extracted from White sands – Liquid clay, the product is fired by gas at a temperature of 11000 C – 11500 C.

Washed Ware:

Made from Unglazed stoneware, They are fired at the temperature of 11500 C, then They are painted by Acrylic paints

Terrazo Ware: Made from Cement, They are molded and rubbed down by hand.

Poly Fiberglass Ware (Light Weight):

Made from Poly Resin and Fiberglass.

Light Cement Ware ( Light weight ):

Made from Cement and Fiberglass.
