This is a new type of sound-absorbing foam,

which has superior heat-resisting properties, compared to rubber.

You can choose from three sizes: 10×250×420mm, 10×430×760mm,

and 15×360×900mm.

Comparison with glass wool in terms of soundproofing characteristics
In terms of soundproofing attributes, Orotex HRS shows variation of approximately 5dB

from the mass law for the 100-500 Hz range, but for higher frequencies,

no variation is observed beyond what is due to the mass law.
This is regarded as being due to the vibration-damping properties of

the foam cell structure of HRS (its interconnected cell structure).

Orotex HRS is effective in the 500-2,000 Hz frequency range, and, in particular,

is extremely effective in absorbing sounds in the 800-2,000 Hz range.

Heat aging resistance
Even after exposure to temperatures of 130°C for 3,000 hours, the sound absorption

properties of Orotex HRS are undiminished, and excellent heat-resistance properties

are maintained.

Because Orotex HRS is a viscoelastic material, it is highly effective in damping vibrations, and is effective in reducing structure-borne sounds

(sounds produced by vibrations).
