Aldehyde resin

Aldehyde Resin LB-A81 is a kind of aldehyde polycondensation resin, which is colorless or yellowish.It is soluble in almost paint solvents but not in water and compatible with practically all coatings raw materials, it is excellently yellowing-resistant.

Solubility

It is soluble in almost all paint solvents, such as aromatic hydrocarbons,alcohols,ketones,esters,but please note that it is insoluble or have low solubility in water,in a completely non-polar solvents such as mineral oil,aliphatic hydrocarbons,alicyclic hydrocarbons.

Application

It is mainly used as grinding resin in universal pigment and applied in coating formulation, It is a kind of outstanding vehicle for paint and can effectively improve the adhesion, hardness, gloss, solid content of the paint and fullness of coatings. It is a kind of excellent multifunctional additive to coating/painting.

General Formulations:

It shall account for 5%-15% in general formulations,and it will be better less than 20%.In some coatings,BK-A81 resin will affect the levels of adhesive,flexibility,or weatherability.If there are no specials requirements,5% can also be used directly as coating,printing ink, paints as excellent additives.
