Cartridge heater Design

The Cartridge Heater is designed to withstand ever demanding requirements. Our high-density compaction process ensures maximum reliability under adverse operating conditions. Its swaged construction provides the highest possible heat transfer rates and watts density. Cartridge heater is resistant to impact and vibration applications and Xingtai also have the option to make with a variety of seals to suit your requirements.

Cartridge heater Technology requirement

Recommended for temperatures up to 750°C

Cartridge Heaters are available with a built in Thermocouple Type J or K .

Sheath Material S/S 304, S/S316, incoloy or made as your design

Spirals Nickel - Chrome

Insulation Magnesium Oxide Powder

Voltage Supply any voltage up to a maximum of 480V

Maximum Temperature 950 °C

Resistance Tolerance +10% - 5%

Wattage Tolerance +5% - 10% (closer tolerances are available upon special request for example +/- 3% or +/- 5%)

Cartridge heater Specification Requirements for Ordering

Please note that Xingtai manufacture to customer specification. There are many lead options available, including Glass Fibre Leads, Silicon Rubber Leads, PTFE Leads, Ceramic Beaded Leads, Braided Leads and Conduits. Please advise us of the type of leads preferred. If you would like some assistance or advise on the correct lead to use, please do not hesitate to ask.
