The salted matsutake have 5 grades: A/B/C/CT/F, left to right:quality good to bad.

we grade matsutake by it's morphololical charecteristics/bug in or not/length...,the cap and stem band together closed ones are the good ones. no bug in the mushroom is good. usually length of 5-7cm is best.
