Proteins are among the most complex organic compounds found in nature. They are made up of nitrogen containing compounds known as amino acids. During the digestion of proteins, hydrochloric acid and proteolytic enzymes break down the intact protein molecule into amino acids which are then absorbed through the intestinal wall in higher organisms and cell membrane in microorganisms.

Every animal, including humans, must have an adequate source of protein in order to grow or maintain itself. Proteins, which yield amino acids, are the fundamental structural element of every cell in the body. Specific proteins are now recognized as the functional elements in certain specialized cells, glandular secretions, enzymes and hormones.

Proteases refer to a group of enzymes whose catalytic function is to hydrolyze (breakdown) proteins. They are also called proteolytic enzymes or proteinases. Proteases play a critical role in many physiological and patho-physiological processes. Proteases find extensive applications in the food and dairy industries.

Function

1. Leather molting: molting used enzyme (35-42, PH7.5, 20-25u/ml) →washing the leather→ soaking the leather in acid liquid→ tanning

2. Film silver recovery: 45 pH 7.0-7.5 Recovered by 20-23u/ml

3. Silk de-gumming: pretreatment→ dehydration→ treating with acid liquid(Protease18-24u/ml, soap 0.75%, 48-50, 30-60min, pH7-8)→ dehydration→de-gumming→ washing→ dehydration→ fluffing→ drying→ fluffing

4. Medicine industry: 1398 Neutral Protease has capability to disintegrate poly-saccachride, it can wipe off phlegm. It can be applied to treat Chronic bronchitis,Bronchiectasis,Cough and so on. The products have a good effect on adhesion, decrustation, thrombophlebitis.

5. Forage Enzyme: a compound enzyme mixed by neutral protease, α-amylase, Acid protease, Cellulase, Glucoamylase. These products can be wildly used in feeding suckling pig, grown pig, poultry and fish. After adding forge enzyme into the feedstuff, materiel can be decomposed to small unit through controlling temperature , humidity and pH. In the smalls scale breeding, forge enzyme can be directly mixed with the feedstuff, which should equably distribute in the feedstuff. The dosage is 0.11.0% of the feedstuff.
