The strong ability of removing high sulfur. The desulfurization efficiency can reach 99.5%. In coke oven gas, when the H2S content is 4g/nm3, after desulfurization, it can meet with the process requirements, in the shift gas when the H2S content is over 3.5g/nm3, the outlet may fall to 50mg/nm3 or below.

The desulfurization is comprehensive. It not only can remove the inorganic sulfur, but also can remove certain proportion of organic sulfur; the highest rate of removing the organic sulfur can reach above 80%.

Under the same operating conditions, after changing to 888 desulfurization catalyst, it may enhance the desulfurizing unit ability up to above 20%.

No accumulation of sulfur and tower plugging. During regeneration the flotation process the floated elemental sulfur is of large particles, the solution viscosity is low, the elemental sulfur is easy to be separated; 888 solution has strong self-cleansing power, and simultaneously it has the function washing the desulfurization tower.

Low cost. Under the similar operating load condition, after substituting other catalysts with 888 desulfurization catalyst, the desulfurization cost is greatly reduced.
