Advantage

This type pump is provided with a pressure tank and a pressure switch which controls starting and stopping the pump. When the pump discharge pressure increases to a setting point (e.g.1.7 bar), the switch cuts off, and the motor stops. At the same time compressed gas in the tank forces water out of tank, when the pressure decreases to a setting point(e.g. 1.1bar), the switch cuts in and the motor restarts. A new cycle begins.This makes pump operating in a setting region.
