1. General Description

Our company produced the rectifier for long time, the products have passed several onsite tests, and the quality has been continuously improved. The rectifier is compact structure, reasonable layout and has complete protection, easy to use.

This rectifier is used for refining, adopts 12 pulses 6 phase half wave configuration, outputs DC 16000A/36V.

2. Technical parameters

n Rated DC output voltage: 36V

n Current control accuracy:≤±1% (when the load voltage is in the range of 30%~100%)

n The average natural power factor of primary rectifier: ≥ 0.9 (full load)

n Current ripple coefficient: ≤3%

n Voltage margin coefficient: ≥3

n Current margin coefficient: ≥3

n Cooling method: water cooling

Inlet water pressure:0.1~0.3MPa,Inlet and outlet water pressure difference: 0.1 MPa.Inlet water temperature is not greater than 35 °C 3. Output DC power characteristicVoltage regulation method: changing transformer secondary connection and regulating thyristor phase shift angel to regulate output voltage Output voltage, current could be adjusted continuously The power supply could be 100% load continuous running, 1 minute of 150% load of overload running ability. 4. Process featuresAdopts high quality copper bus bar for connection, the copper bus bar is through surface acid cleaning and nickel plated, the interface is through embossing treatment to lower contact voltage drop and line loss. Reasonable water loop connection, taking equipotential water loop connection method to avoid potential difference. The cabinet is antimagnetic structure, which may generate local eddy current heating, using stainless steel material to cut off the magnetic circuit. Condensation controller is equipped inside the cabinet. Rectifier cabinet is through anti corrosion treatment.

5. Control unit

The control unit includes DSP digital control system, S7200 logical control system, Siemens touch screen

n Adopt fully digital control system to make sure consistent triggering pulses, and strong anti-interference, anti-magnetic ability and high reliability

n Output current has zero start function, could adjust to rated current continuously and smoothly

n Logical control system adopts Siemens CPU S7-200 and with Profibus DP.

n Control operation panel adopts Siemens TP 177B.

6. Protection unit

The power supply has protections of RC protection, varister over voltage protection, overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, overheat protection and grounding protection etc.

n SCR is parallel connected with resistors and capacitors to suppress overvoltage effectively. At the while resistance could consume some energy which may cause over-voltage

n Secondary side of transformer adopts zinc-oxide varistor to absorb peak of transient voltage

n Overcurrent protection: detect output current, When exceed 1.1 times of the maximum output current (adjustable), send alarm signal, block triggering pulses, cut off input high voltage switch and emits light alarm

n Overvoltage protection: detect output voltage, when exceed 1.1 times of the maximum output voltage (adjustable), send alarm signal, block triggering pulses, cut off input high voltage switch and emits light alarm

n Overheat protection: detect SCR case temperature, send alarm signal when exceeding 85°C, block pulses, cut off input high voltage switch and emits light alarm

n Grounding protection: the cabinet could be grounded reliably and safely

n SCR fault feedback protection: thyristor status is feedback to control system through the triggering board, and conduct real time detection to thyristor’s triggering pulses loss, thyristor short circuit etc. fault
