So we suggest that you should clean the cartridge surface with a abraive paper in the water.

After cleaning, you can find that the dirt get less.

Of course, if you clean the cartridge more often, the surface will be thiner.

And then you should change another new cartridge.

If the water in your area is not bad, you can change a new one once per year.

If the wate really bad, you'd better change a new one once half a year.
