Established in 1986 in Chengdu, China, Chengdu Jiexun Electronics Co., Ltd. is a Sino-America joint-venture company.

Our products include optical transmitters, optical receivers, different types of amplifiers, network equipment, CATV addressable billing system products, analog TV scramble system products, digital QAM modulators, QPSK modulators, multiplexers, encoders and standard alone scramblers, TS digital splitters and adaptors. Our products provide a perfect solution for digital TV.

We are a high-tech enterprise which integrates the research, manufacture, sales and service of digital cable tv products. Our company is building up both domestic and overseas markets while making a good contribution to the CATV industry.

As a leader of CATV industry in China, we focus on digital TV products and provide a wide range of new technology and competitive products which are suitable for both domestic and overseas markets. We have almost 100 employees, 30% are technology and research team, 20% are in sales marketing team.

Outline of DVB-C system

DVB-C system solution often includes:

1. Digital headend system:

It consists of digital headend hardware equipment and its network management software, mainly including: professional digital satellite receiver, digital satellite decryption IRD, digital satellite code stream demodulator, network adapter/ network decoder, encoder, multiplexer, standard scrambler, modulator, mixer, etc.

2. Content release system:

Programme transmission system, multimedia data broadcast system, quasi-video on demand, and EPG, etc.

3. CA encryption system:

It consists of standard scramber and CAS.

4. Operation support system:

User information, equipment management, business/ authorization management, user charge sub-account management, and statistic analysis management, etc.

5. HFC transmission system:

It consists of headend amplifier, optical transmitter, optical receiver, various transmission distributing devices, etc.

6. User terminal system:

It consists of digital CATV set top box, CA, middlewares, and application programs, etc.
