Description:

Portable Explosives Detector (PED) is a security equipment able to detect explosives of small magnitude. The detection can be done by sniffing vapors as in an explosive vapor detector or by sampling traces of particulates or by utilizing both methods depending on the scenario. PED can detect both vapors and particles of explosives. It also can detect narcotics. This equipment is used mainly in airports and other vulnerable areas considered susceptible to acts of unlawful interference.

The PED can be disassembled into two from the top, the nose can be taken off so that the explosive vapor detector can be easily cleaned or replaced. It is expected that there would be a lot of chances that the nose coming into contact with solid objects during the operation, so we use some silicon part placed between the nose and the body for protection. In this case, as per the requirements from our client, the lid on the back can be opened, disassembled easily, so that parts could be replaced with no difficulties.
