Friction Welding Drill Pipe and Joints

Friction Welding Drill Pipe Main feature:

1,Friction welding drill pipe and joints can be produced according to API5D Standards, as well as customer’s requirement.

2,Drill pipe has different steel grades of DZ50, R780, G105, S135 among them DZ50, R780, steel grade are produced based on company’s standard of Q/01STB01-2007.

Joint material has 35CrMo, 4137H and so on.

3,Thread was coated with copper or phosphate with the advantage of perfect anti-sticking tendencies.

Drill Pipe Feature:

5. Large inside diameter of tool joint

Hardbanding Feature:
1. Good balance between antiwear and friction-reduction
2. The wear rate is less than 6% of that of bare tool joint, which can prolong 3 times of the tool joint service life
3. Good property of friction-reduction, which can reduce the casing wear to the least, and its wear to casing is less than 11% of that of bare tool joint
4. Reduce the torque of drilling string
5. Good weldablity with little splash and good rewelding preformance
6. Friendly to environment

Internal Coating Feature:
1. High abrasion resistance and low friction factor
2. Good adhesion and flexility
3. High application temperature and pressure
4. High hardness and impact resistance
5. Good corrosion resistance
