Installation Steps for CCTV Camera

1) Prepare:

Take out bracket, get ready necessary tools and parts: expansion plug, screw, screwdriver, hammer, electric drill and etc.On installation site, check whether size of expansion plug and screw is fit; check whether bracket screw meet hole of cctv camera’s bottom base; check whether connector of embedded pipe/cable is well; test whether cable is working well; now ready to install.

2) Adjust camera lens:

Take out cctv camera, carefully install camera lens (waterproof camera is not need to install lens), note: do not touch camera lens via hands.Power on camera, connect camera with host or locally connect with a monitor or small television. Adjust lens focus and iris well.

3) Install Bracket:

Take out bracket and tools of expansion plug, screw, screwdriver, hammer, electric drill and etc.Install bracket on pre-confirmed position, and confirm bracket is firmly installed.Install cctv camera in planned direction on bracket.

4) Install housing: (if you need to install cover, directly install housing after step 2)

Open upper cover plate and rear backpieceDraw out fixed metal film, fix camera wellPut power adaptor in side of housingReposition upper cover plate and rear backpiece, arrange and fix cables well and install camera on bracket

5) Connect video plug:

Plug BNC connector of video cable into cctv camera’s BNC connector, confirm plug well. (BNC male connector to BNC female connector or RCA male connector to RCA female connector)

6) Connect power plug:

Plug DC output connector of power adaptor into cctv camera’s DC connector, confirm plug well. (DC male connector to DC female connector)

7) Connect monitor:

connect another end of video cable with host or monitor(television), and confirm the firmness.

8) Adjust and test:

power on hose and camera, adjust view angle of camera to predetermined range via monitor.
