Black Ark Company is a Ghanian company registered in the commission’s record as a concession holder, owner of a concession located at Akyensah/Anum-Apapam, eastern region of Ghana with 52 km2. In this concession are 3 Small Scale Mining : Augustine, Albert and Richard.

These small scale gold concessions were granted to the Black Ark Company by the Government of the Republic of Ghana on 5th September 2007 for the period of 5 years, with rights to mine gold and other precious minerals on the 200 Acres tract of land : within the Suhum Kraboa Coaltar after District of Eastern Region

The concession area shares a common boundary with Atewa forest Reserve to the West. A prospects work program was completed in 1990 on the concession by the Black Ark Geological Tech Team with Sam supper as the consultant Exploration Geologist.

A joint venture agreement was signed on 24th August 1994 between Black Ark co-operation Ltd and international Tournigam Coporation. At the end of the exploration program, a high grade area was recommended for small scale Mining. Grand total and excavated pits 375. Current analysis returned with an average grade of 1.30g/m3. In view of the good knowledge of the geological environment coupled with analytical results obtained could guarantee a viability of huge Mechanized Mining project.
