Washing Instructions

Washing & Maintenance

1. Allowing for the shrinkage of pure cotton, be sure to immerse the newly-bought cotton fabric in water (40°C-50°C) for a few minutes and then hang it up till 90% dry, and iron it flat.
2. Adding a little salt into the water when immersing the cotton may prevent it from fading and also maintain the bright color.
3. Immerse the products made of pure cotton in the water mixed with a little salt or white vinegar before washing (If it is high-quality product, a small amount of alum is needed).
4. Washing temperature depends on the color of cotton fabric. The average temperature is about 40°C-50°C; For the ones of bright or dark color, the temperature should not be too high; For the ones of solid white and without sweat, high temperature is OK.
5. It is not fit to wash cotton fabric with sweat at high temperature, because the protein in sweat coagulates when heated and attaches to the fibers, forming yellow stains.
6. DO NOT insolate cotton fabric or products made of cotton. It's better to dry them in ventilating and cooling places.
7. You can iron cotton fabric at the temperature of 200°C, because it can withstand high temperature.
