BOTANICAL NAME : Tectona Grandis

MAIN SIZE :

1.) 15 x 90 / 75 x 450 mm up to 1.200 mm (interval = 50 mm) for teak solid random

2.) 15 x 90 / 75 x 1.820 mm for teak uni flooring

3.) 15 x 90 / 150 x 1.820 mm for teak FJL (2p/3p/4p/5p/6p)

MOISTURE OF CONTENT : 10% (+/- 2%)

QUALITY

A- grade :

•Close grain, warm/honey color, oil rich and knot free. No streaks of white, no knots on top side, very few knots (live knots only – where there is discoloration but no fill – on the underside)•distructuredsawn (quarter, semi quarter, flat, double flat sawn etc.) are acceptable •one face clear from sapwood, pinhole, doreng, blue stain, heart, dead knot •some live knot, slightly discoloured, slightly oil grain and slightly "more" are acceptable •no hit and miss, no twist, no cupping, no bending, no split, no scratches, no defect

B- grade :

•Has a warm color with occasional streaks of black and some splotches and discoloration.•distructuredsawn (quarter, semi quarter, flat, double flat sawn etc) are acceptable •one face clear dead knot •heavy live knot, heavy discoloured, heavy oil grain, heavy "more", heavy blue stain, heavy “doreng” are acceptable•sapwood on surface is acceptable•no hit and miss, no twist, no cupping, no bending, no split, no scratches, no defect
