C9 Aromatic Petroleum Resin

1. Product introduction

C9 Hydrocarbon Resin is a kind of Aromatic Hydrocarbon resin produced by C9 fraction,by products of petroleum cracking,through pretreatment, polymerization and distillation.

It isn't a high polymer but a low polymer with the molecular weight between 300-3000.It has good solubility and compatanilities with various solvents. Featured by acid value,easy mutual solubilities,resistant to water,resistant to acid, alkli and chemicals.

2. Application and Function

A. Paint

1) Increasing the gloss hardness of paint

2) Improving the coating adhesion

3) Enhancing the ability against water, acid and alkali

4) Accelerating the drying rate

B. Adhesives

1) Good compatibility and glutinosity

2) Best balance among initial, cohesion and peel adhesion

3) Good heat stability and abrasion performance

4)Improve acid,alkali,water and aging resistance

C. Rubber

1)Improve tensile strength and lower Mooney viscosity

2)Good compatibility with Natural Rubber and Isobutylene-isoprene Rubber

3)Limited influence on vulcanization

4)Enhance the elasticity and peeling strength

D. Ink

In ink industry mainly use the high softening point of C9 petroleum resin

which can reach the effect of showing color, quick-drying and brightening and improve printing performance,etc.
