Our Solid Rubber Wood Flooring is manufactured using plantation grown Rubber trees which have been cleared from farms after they can no longer produce latex the natural substance used for making rubber.

Rubber trees are a 100% renewable resource being replanted approximately every 25 years after the old growth has been cleared to make way for young replanted latex producing trees.

Natural Solid Rubber Wood Flooring:

Grade AA [Clear]

This grade is the very best clear timber available with no natural faults at all producing a classic clean

contemporary look.

Grade AB [Select]

This grade has some small natural tight knots, occasional gum vien marks and mineral lines giving

the floor an attractive natural character.

Grade BC [Rustic]

Rustic grade has more pronounced natural knots, natural flaws in the timbers, gum vien marks and

mineral lines giving this flooring a country style appearance. The very low price and noticable character

make our Rustic grade a popular choice.

Rubber Wood [Hevea brasiliensis] has become very much in demand recently as flooring because of its similar

characteristics to Oak flooring. In the US it is known as Malaysian Oak, Asian Beech and Parawood while in Europe

it is called Hevea and Plantation Hardwood.
