A small amount of dye will color many flowers.

1g of dye will color about 70 flowers.

Dyeing information

How to use

1.Remove as many leaves as possible first.
Removing the leaves makes it easier for the dye to spread to the petals.

2.Cut the stem diagonally on the flowers you wish to stain.
Making a diagonal cut increases the surface area, making the dyeing process faster.

3.Add 1g of dye to 500ml of water, then mix to dissolve.
The proper concentration varies depending on the flower.

Typically, the darker the dye the brighter the color,

however if the dye is too concentrated the flower may not absorb the dye well and

may not take the color at all.

4.Place the end of the stem in the dye solution so that at least 1cm of

the stem is in the solution and soak for around 60 minutes.
When the petals have dyed, rinse off the stem and then let the flower sit in plain water.

Staining time will vary depending on the flower.

Leaving the flower in the dye too long can reduce the vase life of the flower.

Dyeing tips
*Flowers will dye faster if removed from water an hour or two beforehand.
*Fresh flowers will dye faster with better results.
*Flowers with shorter stems will dye faster than flowers with longer ones.
*Keep dye away from the mouth and eyes.
*Flowers may not take the dye depending on their type and freshness.
