Product Description

Amorphous alloy dry-type transformers (number of phases: single-phase or three-phase; frequency: 50 Hz, 60 Hz; rated capacity: 10 kVA - 50 kVA (single-phase), 20 kVA - 100 kVA (three-phase))

1. Solutions that stand out from the crowd
We have been involved in the production of transformers for fifty years,

manufacturing over 30,000 units to date. Using this cumulative experience,

we propose transformer solutions that meet your exacting needs.

2. Flexible support
With options including rolling casters and dirt, liquid, and rust protection,

we provide products with specifications best suited to your purposes and

operating environment.

3. Rapid response and robust quality control
Our in-house production control allows us to manufacture your items in a short

time while retaining the highest standards of quality.

(Our record delivery time is just two weeks from order to delivery)

Product Description

1.We use ultra-low power loss amorphous alloy cores.

Standby loss (no-load loss) is dramatically curtailed

(1/4 to 1/6 the loss experienced by standard silicon steel plate-based transformers).

2. Achieve energy savings in all ranges, from light loads up to rated load values

(for a three-phase transformer with rated capacity of 50 kVA,

at a load factor of 20% power efficiency is 99.1%; and

at a load factor of 100% power efficiency is 97.7%)

3. Establishing an integrated production system and achieving quick turnaround time

through internal manufacturing of amorphous alloy cores to your specifications.

At Jib Electric, we have assembled a line of amorphous alloy transformers with

standard product specifications as follows: insulation class H, dry-type self-cooling,

rated frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, primary voltage of 420 V or 210 V,

secondary voltage of 210 V or 210 - 105 V for single-phase three-wire systems

(we can also accommodate other voltage ranges per customer request),

rated capacity of 10 kVA - 50 kVA (single-phase) and 20 kVA - 100 kVA (three-phase).

We offer transformers housed in cases designed for indoor or outdoor deployment.

We also provide transformers with parameters other than those listed above,

so please inquire.

Amorphous cores explained: generally speaking,

metals exhibit a periodic arrangement of atoms that form a crystalline structure.

Amorphous alloys, however, do not have have this internal structure.

As a result, with amorphous alloy cores, when magnetic flux is varied,

atomic rotation is less inhibited than in magnetic materials such as silicon steel plate.

This means that hysteresis loss (loss during magnetic flux travel) is decreased.

In addition, compared to silicon steel and other magnetic materials,

amorphous metal plates are thinner, thus reducing eddy current loss. In sum,

this means that iron loss in amorphous core systems is much less than that in

systems using magnetic materials.

This is a rendering of the atomic arrangement in two materials.

At left is silicon steel, which exhibits an orderly atomic arrangement,

making movement of magnetic domain via magnetization mechanisms difficult.

In contrast, the amorphous alloy pictured at right has a random,

unordered atomic structure and lacks the crystallization seen in the other material,

so it is magnetically isotropic. Consequently, motion of magnetic domains is easier.

The following is a feature comparison chart for three-phase transformers with

a rated capacity of 50 kVA. Unlike our previous silicon steel core transformers,

our new amorphous transformers with amorphous alloy in the core achieve far lower

loss; with a load factor of 20%, loss is kept to 69% of previous values, and with load at

60%, loss reaches only 33% of previous values.
