It is raw material of preparing medical gallic acid, burnt gallic acid, sulfonamides. Preparing Gallic acid and burnt Gallic acid in chemical production, mud finishing agent in oil industry, in addition, used in producing leather tanning agent, mordant, rubber peptizer, protein medicinal preparation, alkaloid precipitating agent, dressing inhibitor, wines clarifying agent, germanium extraction and blue-black ink and so on.
