After the mixture of micro silica fume into cement concrete,the cement can be well filled in gaps,so that slurry gets more densified,and it combines with the free Ca(OH) to form a stable calcium silicate hydrate 2CaO.SiO2.H2O gel strength is higher than the hydrate Ca(OH) crystals,the main performance is as follows:

1.Increasing strength: the concrete compressive strength and flexural strength greatly increased,incorporation of 5-10% silica fume,compressive strength can be increased 10-30%,flexural strength increased by more then 10%.

2.Increasing density:5-18 times increase impermeability,chemical resistance increased by 4 times.

3.Frost resistance:micro silica in rapid frozen solution cycle after 300-500 times,relatively elastic modulus decreased by 10-20%,while the ordinary concrete goes through 25-50 cycles,the relative elastic modulus reduced to 30-73%.

4.Early strength:micro silica shortens the induction period,possessing early strength characteristics.

5.Abrasion resistance performance,anti-cavitations:abrasion resistant performance of micro silica concrete is improved by 0.5-0.25 times than ordinary concrete,anti-cavitations capability is increased by 3-16 times.
