Excellent Hardware Platform:

Adopt core decoding board which is based on the latest PCI-E bus technology, providing greater bandwidth data exchange bus, with composite, Y/C, YUV component, SDI (Optional), ASI (TS, optional) input/output interfaces.

Wide range of material compatibility:

The system should support all kinds of MPEG file formats; it can call the existing or future MPEG file packed by the non-linear editing system of various brands via internet, such as *.mpg, *.m2p, *.mp2, and *.m2v+*.wav separated files, including PS and ES formats. This system is able to broadcast the file more than 2G, and support PAL/NTSC and 16:9 materials broadcasting.

This system should provide hardware-based material trans-coding tools, which can be used for repairing the material that cannot broadcast because of the problem of encoding.

Support VCD/DVD materials:

As for VCD/DVD materials, we can copy file “*.dat *.vob” for broadcasting. Meanwhile, we can select parameters, such as multiple languages, subtitles, etc.

Materials’ Data Stream

Adopt advanced PCI-E bus to provide high speed bandwidth, this system is able to support the materials with data stream more than 50M, and ensure long time video and audio synchronization during broadcasting.

Dotting Accurate to Frame

With the system, the material can be edited by marking new beginning and ending dots to remove useless pictures. Advertisement can be inserted by dotting. When advertisement is over, system will get back to broadcast the interrupted program. Dotting can be accurate to frame, so as to ensure the integrity of program.

Different Formats Seamless Handoff

To broadcast different formats materials, this system adopts seamless handoff technology, so there is no black screen, tearing pictures, and other bad effects.

Character Function:

To ensure broadcasting quality, the system adopts single-card system integrated decoding playback and subtitle hardware, not playback card + subtitle card two-card system. The system has all character functions, such as clock, station logo, corner sign; and switching mode: cut-in from left, cut-in from above, etc. These functions can be defined to broadcast automatically in a certain time or times within a period. During broadcasting, temporary character can be inserted under emergency situations. All characters are independent with each other. As for advertisement corner sign, it can be set the same broadcasting attributes as the program, thus, it can be broadcasted with the program.

Station Logos Superposition of Rebroadcasting Program

This broadcast playout system can rebroadcast the programs of other channels and superimpose the station logo of the rebroadcasted channels by the additional DDYSWTBC 8X4 time-based switcher.

Material Upload Function

This system has material upload function, without extra hardware and expenses, supporting MPEG1/2 formats. The data stream of the uploaded materials can be adjusted. And all uploaded materials can be broadcasted safely.

Hardware Synchronous Monitoring

The broadcasting video will display on the screen of software operation interface synchronously for operator’s monitor.

Real-time Audio UV Volume Table Display

In this system, we can adjust the volume of left & right channels, and select the left/right channel to exchange or mix output. With real-time UV audio display table, the current audio output status can be monitored.

Perfect and Realistic Broadcasting Solution

With practical broadcasting attributes, each material will correspond with a certain broadcasting type setting. The attributes are shown as the following:

Manual:

Control the program broadcasting manually. When there is a manually-broadcasted program, system will pop a dialogue box for confirmation. This function is mainly applied in controlling the program broadcasted in non-fixed time.

Sequence:

When former program is over, the following will broadcast automatically.

Timing:

Materials to be broadcasted at fixed time are with higher priority, which will interrupt the current material with other sequences.

Trigger:

If there is traditional automatic tape broadcasting equipment in the studio, hard disk broadcasting system can be used as a hard disk video recorder/player. It will broadcast the program when got the trigger signal from the automatic tape broadcasting equipment. This function should be supported by other equipments.

Sequential Insertion:

The program with attribute of sequential insertion will begin to broadcast when the current broadcasting program comes to the pre-set time, such as video clips, advertisement, and so on. The system will get back to broadcast the interrupted program when sequential insertion program and its following programs are finished.

Timing Insertion:

Compared with sequential insertion program, timing insertion program will interrupt the current program and broadcast at a fixed time, such as hourly news. The system will get back to the interrupted program when the timing program and its following programs are finished.

Following:

This kind of program is broadcasted after sequential insertion or timing insertion programs. The system will continue to broadcast interrupted program only if all following programs broadcasted.

Re-broadcast:

When there is program from other channels to be re-broadcasted, please click the right key in the blank area of the list and select “add re-broadcast program”. The re-broadcasted program, which also has attribute of timing or sequential, will be switched to specified channel automatically by the switcher connected with hard disk broadcasting system.

Backup Material Broadcasting:

When there is emergent situation, backup material can be switched for broadcasting. During the time of program production, system will broadcast the backup material repeatedly.

Broadcasting List Management

It can be set to broadcast 24hours*365days.

Broadcasting Log Management

The system will generate a log file for the broadcasted program automatically, named on the basis of broadcasting time. This file prohibits to be modified, which will be used for broadcasting condition inquiry. Log management is automatic, the time and path can be set in advance.
