C9 Petroleum Resin :
Character: It is aromatic hydrocarbon resin, light yellow granular, with good transparency and luster, good solubility, compatibility, aqueous stability, insulation and chemical stability, and with good adhesiveness and heat conductivity.

Usage:
1. Coating production: Used in paint and reinforced latex coating, also applied in oil soluble coating.
2. Rubber treatment: Used as adhesion booster.
3. Adhesive production: Used in adhesive, especially for melting glue and pressure-sensitive glue.
4. Printing ink production: It can be dissolved in hydrocarbon resin, it owns high soft point and stable performance, so it can be used in ink.
5. Paper making industry: Used in paper sizing agent.
6. Other application; Used as oil field water treatment agent & slurry additives, pitch modified agent.

Main Applications:

A. paints
C9 hydrocarbon resin added to paints can increase the final finishes of paints, the

adhesiveness of paint films and the hardness. Resistance to acid and alkaline.

B. Rubbers
Mainly use C9 hydrocarbon resin with low softening points, the resin has very good

mutual solubilities with natural rubber particles, No affect to the sulphurization of rubber.

C. Adhesives
The resins have very good adhesiveness, they can increase the adhesiveness

of adhesives, resistance to acid, alkaline and water. Subsequently they will reduce

the production cost.

D. printing inks
C9 hydrocarbon resin which have high softening point are used for printing inks, They have

color spreading, fast dry and brightening effects and will increase the printing property.

E. Others

C9 hydrocarbon resin has certain unsaturation property and can be used as paper

glutting agents, plastic modifiers etc.
