How does the VPS 2000 protect your assets?
The Nu-Alert VPS-2000 is a GSM electronic padlock security system that
allows you to simultaneously monitor the security status of up to 8
padlocks. Once armed, you will receive a text message whenever any of the
armed padlock shackles is opened, whether it is opened by key or by force.
Everything in this system is controlled by cellular phone. You can use your
cell phone to set password, label each padlock with a distinctive defense
area name, arm and disarm the system, and check system status. You can
assign up to 4 unique phone numbers to receive system alerts and control the
system remotely. The VPS 2000 is designed to give you the flexibility to
protect your assets anywhere and at any time. In case you or the primary
user is overwhelmed by other business matters, the multiple-recipients
function ensures at least one of your assignees will be notified to take
immediate action should an intrusion occurs.

How does it work?
Each VPS 2000 system comes with a main control unit, up to 8 padlocks, and a
remote control device. The main control unit works like a server which
processes operation signals by receiving and sending SMS between the system
and the users. Besides arming and disarming, a user may setup a unique name
for a specific padlock to identify each defense area by location. Should one
of the padlocks is opened by force (i.e. the shackle is released or
destroyed), the internal sensor alerts the main control unit that in tern
alarms all assigned users indicating exactly which location is being
attacked. This makes it easy to secure and monitor multiple locations
simultaneously. Place all padlocks within a radius of 150 feet from the main
control unit to allow maximal signal strength. Each system also comes with a
remote control that allows users standing in close proximity to arm and
disarm the unit without using a cell phone.
