1.1 People-oriented design, graphical interface and able to be operated with one key. All operations are finished in one interface. The system can generate the fixed departure schedule to ensure the balance departure as scheduled at different time periods. The dispatchers can adjust the departure plan in accordance with the real time situation,which is assisted by the automatic departure with taking the principles of the first arrival departing first while bus departing still as the designed order under the condition when the arrival time interval is small, and supplementing the bus dispatched promptly with automatically changing the following buses’ numbers.
1.2 Able to dispatch the vehicles temporarily among different lines to realize the comprehensive application, supporting the power-driven vehicles to temporarily participate in the line bus departure plan under the conditions that the departure frequency of the line has to be increased due to the emergency incidents and festivals, reducing the dispatcher’s operation.
1.3 When the system finds out there exists the long time interval between the running vehicles and the existing vehicles can not satisfy the departure plan, the system shall automatically remind the dispatchers to monitor the line operation situation and provide the best solution plan for the dispatchers’ reference.
1.4 At the vehicle entering the destination area, the driver shall be informed with the departure in the form of voice and text through the dispatching screen and onboard terminal. Meanwhile, the system is able to redisplay the vehicle’s running trace. Besides, the electronic fence can be set. When the vehicles drive off the line, run at excessive speed or depart from the destination not at the scheduled time, the system shall remind the dispatcher or driver through the sound alarm, thus preventing the departure at the excessive speed, bypassing, decelerated run and exceeding the defined.
1.5 The system can share the data with the Tiamaes ERP comprehensive information management system. The situation data such as maintenance and repair can be displayed on the dispatcher’s operation interface, which can be directly reflected to the GPS monitoring dispatching software through the ERP public transportation comprehensive information management system. The dispatchers can directly know the vehicle’s repair situation and make the prompt adjustment to the line’s vehicles’ running dispatching. The system can also be extended with the public transportation stations and office automation system for the use. With applying the CAN bus subsystem to get interconnected with the public transportation metropolitan area network through the GPRS, the public transportation management personnel can be fully informed about the operation situations of the vehicles and vehicle equipments at any place.
