Copper is deposited electrolytically onto blank cathodes in electrowinning cells located in the tank house. Loaded cathodes are periodically removed by an overhead crane with lifting bale and delivered to copper cathode stripping machine. The cathodes hang vertically from the bale and are deposited on the receiving station of copper cathode stripping machine. While on the receiving conveyor, the loaded cathodes are cleaned with high pressure and temperature water spays to thorough wash all surface. After passing through the wash booth, the loaded cathodes are transferred from the receiving conveyor to the stripping station to remove the copper. The stripped cathodes are transferred to a reject conveyor, and damaged or non-stripped cathodes are transferred to the discharge conveyor. Stripped copper is sampled, weighed, bundled, strapped, labeled and removed by forklift.

2) Noise level: 80dB dB (A) at most within 1 meter from motor and pump, but the stripping zone sometimes higher
