Application:

Solar controlwith tinted glass in this text makes reference to its ability to control or reduce the sun’s direct heat energy through the glass. Solar control also refers to the abilityof a glass to reduce visible light and UV transmittance. Tinted float glass performs a solar control function by limiting to various degrees the transmittance of direct heat energy, visible light and UV transmission.

Tinted glass provides for solar control, reducing the sun’s direct heat energy by 30-50% over ordinary clear glass.
