Petroleum Hydrocarbon Resin C5

1. Introduction

Petroleum resin petroleum resin is the by-product of oil cracking distillateC5, C9 , premenstrual processing, polymerization, distillation technology production of a thermoplastic resin, it is not high polymer, but molecular weight between 300-3000 oligomer.

2.Classification
Petroleum resin can be generally classified as C5 alphatic (fat species), C9 aromatic (aromatic hydrocarbons), DCPD (ring fat dienes, cycloaliphatic) and pure monomer (such as poly SM, AMS (alpha methyl styrene) and other products), and other four types, its molecular components are hydrocarbons, so it is also called a hydrocarbon resin (hydrocarbon resins, HCR).

3. Advantages
Petroleum resin is a development of the new chemical products in recent years , because of its low cost, solubility, low melting point, water resistance, ethanol resistance and chemical etc, it can be widely used in rubber, adhesive, paint, paper, ink and so on in many kinds of industries fields.

4.Application

Hot melt adhesives, Pressure sensitive adhesives, Sealant, Sealing Tape, Adhesive tape, Electrical tape and other adhesive glue.
