The chess pieces each measure approximately 1 inch at the base and range in height from the lowly pawns at 1-1/2 inches up to the king, which is approximately 3 inches in height.

The glass checkers come in little velvet bags an each piece measures approximately 1-1/4 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch in height. All of the included pieces are in excellent condition,no chips or breaks.

Each chess piece has an open bottem, so one could easily place a small bulb in the bottom of the glass piece and illuminate it!
