This detector is based on the bipolar ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) technology, which is a highly effective detection method for drugs, explosives, chemical and biological weapons. The security staff uses a dedicated test strips wipe luggage for sampling then put it into detection equipment within seconds that it will judge whether there is explosives, drugs and other dangerous in e-mail, parcels and other items. IMS provides a good means of detection for all levels security agencies.
