Application:

1.Diethyl malonate is a kind of food flavor. Mainly used for the preparation of pear, apple, grape, cherry fruit flavor.

2.Diethyl malonate is an important intermediate of 2-Amino-4,6-dimethoxypyrimidine, can be used for producing Sulfonylurea herbicide,such as bensulfuron methyl,Pyrazosulfuron-ethyl, Nicosulfuron etc. Also used as intermediate of sulfonamide and barbitone in medicine.

3.Diethyl malonate is an organic synthesis intermediate.Widely used in dyes, perfumes, sulfonylurea herbicides in production.

It is used in production of NA,Barbituric acid,DIETHYL N-HEXADECYLMALONATE and then synthesize medicines, such as norfloxacin,Lomefloxacin,chloroquine,butazodine and pigments Benzimidazolone.
