Applications
The physical harmlessness of polyisobutylene has been proved for many different applications
1. Chewing gum base. MM PIB provides the suppleness and elasticity to the chewing gum and has excellent capacity to intake fillers. MM PIB has a neutral taste and odor, which enables the flavors contained in the chewing gum to unfold their full taste.
2. Medical adhesive and Medical plaster.
3. Food wrapping medium.
4. Food packing hot melt adhesive.

Shandong Hongrui Petrochemical Co., Ltd is a Sino-Hongkong Joint-venture enterprise,founded in 2006, is one of the main manufacturers of polyisobutylene with the brand of HRD.

Hongrui has powerful research strength with many senior engineers and management talents, broadly cooperates with many domestic universities and research institutes, and masters in the international leading technology of polyisobutylene. Hongrui has one of the largest base of R&D and production of low and medium molecular weight polyisobutylene, DIB (Diisobutylene ) in China.

HRD medium molecular weight PIB has both food grade and industrial grade. Capacity of medium molecular weight polyisobutylene production line is 12,000MT/annual.

HRD low molecular weight PIB has both highly reactive and conventional grade of polyisobutylene. Capacity of low molecular weight polyisobutylene production line is 10,000MT/annual.

Hongrui complies with modern enterprise management system, equipped with international advanced and modern petrochemical production installations, automated distributed control system, product testing instruments and equipments, and obtained ISO9001-2000, ISO14001, ISO22000, and also FDA and REACH preregistration, Kosher certificates etc.
