The metal jacketed gasket is used in heat exchanger or pressure vessels.

Structure


Graphite, non-asbestos sheet and ceramic fiber are used as the filler, which are jacketed by various metal sheets such as stainless steel, tinplate or red copper. Specially it is applicable to static sealing under high temperature and high pressure in heat exchanger or pressure vessels.
